As complicated as life may seem, filled with chaos and conflict, our relationship with God can be calm and in control. We need to remember this verse and live according to God’s Word.
As Proverbs 4 says, we need to let our hearts hold onto God’s Word…trust what He says, the truth is in the Bible. We need to keep His commands…using them as our goals, and we need to live as an example of Him. Walk with purpose!
Proverbs 4:5 goes onto say:
“Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth.”
Today’s world is bombarding us with media “news” and what some consider “truth and knowledge.” Be vigilant; be wise! Gain understanding of what is happening around you, BUT never forget God’s Truth. The good “news” of the Bible is accurate and secure!
Do not turn away from God as you feel emotionally charged by the world today!
With God, you will find peace! If you feel overwhelmed by the news and knowledge being shared, seek God’s Word, seek His Truth. He will overcome all!
Always retain God’s Word in your heart, keep His Commands, and LIVE!
