Each one of us has been influenced by others in our lives. And no matter what title or position that person may have held, if they influenced us, they TAUGHT us. Just as you teach others!
Over the next 30 days, I will support and raise up all who teach; especially those who have heeded the call to action, to teach our youth. I recognize that education is not a “one-size-fits-all” model. We must also come to the realization that schooling and teaching can be TWO different things.
Stop blaming teachers for all the problems in the world; they are just attempting to deal with all that is placed in front of them each day as they teach. Choosing to teach requires more dedication and commitment than most people will ever choose to give of themselves.
Every person who teaches will change (for better or worse) our future generations of families, communities, and leaders. I believe having faith in God is needed now more than ever. Let us have faith in teaching…and those who teach, being led by faith in God!
