We choose to serve others as we teach because we want to make a difference in this world. We are excited and anxious, happy and sad, awake and exhausted…yet we continue on. When we are able to make decisions, we choose what we believe is best for our youth. We are not selfish or conceited with our own agendas.
We support the dreams and goals of our youth. We provide guidance, we let them make choices, we cheer them on, we lift them up if they fall, and we never give up on them. We want them to be more than we have ever been.
We, as teachers, want to do whatever we can to foster learning about life, not only content. And if we want all of these things to happen, we must have faith in God. Without Him, our days will soon overwhelm us. Take time each day to read His word and look for ways to apply it to your life. Prayer changes things! #faithinteaching
