Fulfilling A Purpose

What is your most important job? Do you feel like you are living out your purpose and following the will of God? Today’s verse includes words Jesus spoke to others. There are times where I find life difficult, but then I remember Jesus’ purpose.

How would you have felt if you had the same expectations from God as Jesus did at that time? He lived off of the will of God as food. It says He was nourished to finish God’s work. Nourishment is what is necessary for good health and condition. God provided for Jesus to have what He needed to complete His job.

My health has led me to a place where I am not able to fulfill what I believe is my purpose. But, is it possible that God has found a greater purpose for me? Could there be a new path to fulfill His will? My fulfillment may come from following His will. But…what if I follow the new work He has for me and it doesn’t financially provide as much money as my previous job? How will I deal with that?

This statement of doubt is something I need to get rid of because God says He will provide for those things that finish His work. It may not be for all of our lavish wants, but He will fulfill our needs. I’m still hearing that hymn, “Trust and Obey”!
