God’s Word and World

What does it mean to “present yourself as a living sacrifice”? What about those words “reasonable service”? What is considered reasonable to God? What was the original meaning to Romans 12:1 and all others verses in the Bible?

Today’s world has contorted so many words that we have lost the true definition of their original and intended meaning. We often want to modernize words, change their meaning, and how we use them in voice and action.

Unfortunately, the exact same thing holds true for so many people. We have been contorted by this world and have lost our true meaning and God’s intended purpose for us. We are told we need to become more modernized and less traditional, more liberal and less conservative. We become less and less of who we originally were intended to be and we often don’t know it until we are lost. We then look at ourselves and we can’t determine our purpose or value.

How would you define yourself today? Are you striving to meet God’s intended purpose for who you are to be in this world?

As we serve God each day, let us remember the true Word He speaks through the Bible. We are not to serve this world’s interpretation of His Word. We are to use ourselves as a living sacrifice to serve Him.

We were never meant to fit today’s world; we have always been meant to fit God’s world. We should always have our end purpose in mind, striving to meet His Word each day.
