Have you been wondering where your life is headed? Does the future seem clouded over and the words muffled as you journey?
In today’s world, we want things to have clarity, to be crystal clear. We want clarity with greater resolution on our screens, higher sound quality from our audio systems, and anywhere/anytime access to what is happening (and what is going to happen). We also want to do more things at a distance, yet still have a seamless connection. We have too much going on to schedule true ‘face-to-face’ time. We want a life with “on demand” programming for everything, including our life’s plan.
The reality is that we have lost true clarity in our lives because we encourage it, support it, and in some ways, we demand it. Many have lost a sense of balance with how to use their brilliant minds, God-given talents, and time. Rather than focusing on ways to connect with one another on a deeper level, we decide to connect in augmented realities. We disconnect from real-life when we need to reconnect with each other and God!
You have a choice and you can re-balance your life. Throughout history, we have taken our focus away from the very thing that will give us the greatest clarity – God! Yet, again and again, God is patiently waiting, is faithful, and is ready to have deep conversations. People made a choice then and you can do the same right now! Prayer is so powerful and the Bible is vividly clear on what we can do to lead the life intended for us.
Think about this verse as you seek clarity in your life today:
Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left. ~ Isaiah 30:21
