This Is Our House

With all the restrictions placed on our lives, it can certainly feel as if we have lost all control.  It is scary and upsetting at the same time for many people.  As you work through all your emotions and concerns, I ask you to stop and think just for a few minutes. Do you honestly believe you have been shackled to your home as a prisoner?  Or are you sheltering in a place of comfort and security? You see, it depends on your perspective.

No matter what your viewpoint, know this holds true!  We have one place that is still in our control.  It is our home and all that is within its domain.  The photo I shared today is from a wall in our home.

Joshua 24:15 says, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

If we have this mindset, then all the chaos that has stifled and stopped the rest of the world cannot permeate into our family and our faith.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” ~Proverbs 3:5

Even as we worry about an uncertain future, 1 Peter 5:7 says, “Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.”

Remember, no one can take away your faith.  No one can make your choices for you.  Continue to serve the Lord, continue to follow His Will, and go His way!

God bless you and your family!
