Waiting

‘I’ll be back in the high life again.’

I’m not sure if you ever heard someone say this or heard it in song, but I think it basically means you remember when things were going really well in your life and you had it all…or at least in that moment it just felt great to be alive!

People usually say this statement when they are NOT living those ‘high-life’ moments; it is when they are at a low point, or a place of distress or fear…but they have hope in it what is yet to come. A hope that the ‘high-life’ will come again!

Have you experienced an abundance of ‘high-life’ events in my life? Did you overlook those events? Honestly, God has blessed us beyond what most people only dream of in a lifetime. What an awesome God He is!

Nevertheless, low points in life are hard for us to understand.

Have you ever felt led by God to a place you never imagined or followed a path where you did not know what was to happen next
    Were you anxious?
    Did you willingly follow?

God has a plan for everything in our lives and I have been fortunate enough to see His glory in action. I know everything has a reason, yet…

…well it just all seems different to me. For those of you who followed my writings from the start, you know of my struggles and why I began writing Romans12living.

Since my health decline, I have been internally struggling with the loss of my professional identity. I have no clear purpose about what I am to do next, and I have a ton of mental and physical hurdles blocking my way. You see, many things that came so easily to me are now difficult. The skills I was once praised and rewarded for in my profession have been nearly impossible for me to accomplish without great struggle and pain.

Please pray for me to find my way! God bless you.
